The spared nipple still reacts as original which I understand is not always the case. I'm content with the sisters as I can be and glad to feel very whole even with the required alterations of the reconstruction. I had the best surgeons at CRBS. Great subject and one that is important to the decision process, which in my case Eve, your sharing your experiences with me were major in my decision. Thank you. I've heard plenty of stories (and experienced it myself) where other doctors, in reviewing your medical records, say things like, "Wait, this says you had a mastectomy. There must be a mistake here . . ."Eve Wallingahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17791396884784344228noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2419749628386702268.post-353534250952737552014-04-04T06:48:05.623-07:002014-04-04T06:48:05.623-07:00Witty and informative.Witty and informative.marly kellernoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2419749628386702268.post-1045569568772944232014-04-03T21:45:59.174-07:002014-04-03T21:45:59.174-07:00Thanks, Mary! If anyone out there has given up theirs during reconstruction either because she chose to do so, or was advised to, they do a wonderful job of recreating new ones that don't show through your clothes even if you don't wear a bra.
Still feeling whole,
Mary
Mary Fritschnoreply@blogger.com
